Recently, the Bankruptcy Court, for the District of Organ (In Re Culpepper, 481 BR 650) ordered a mortgage lender pay $5,000 in sanctions for violating the bankruptcy discharge. In this case the mortgage lender continued to solicit the debtor for a home loan modification.
